About Me
Meet Remi Turner—a Valentine's baby who constantly fuels her cupid's bow with passion and creativity. This inspired the creation of "Cupid Sent Me," Turner's outlet for creative expression. T
urner is nearing the completion of her fourth year of undergraduate studies at the University of Miami. She is a native Upstate New Yorker currently residing in Coral Gables, FL.
When she is not in class or buried in a book, you can find her scouring the racks at the local thrift store or creating Pinterest boards for her next craft night.
Turner manages PR for the student-run magazine, Distraction. Additionally, Turner is a Copywriter for Orange Umbrella, an on-campus ad agency. She is also as a Membership Coordinator for It's On Us, a national organization that combats sexual violence on college campuses. Last but certainly not, Turner is a PR Coordinator for student government at UM.
Post graduation, Turner aims to work in journalism in the best city on Earth, New York City. Her lifelong dream is to land an editing position with Vogue or Interview Magazine. If anyone reading this knows Anna, please put in a good word.
While swinging around the monkey bars of the concrete jungle, Turner also plans on continuing to publish her blog, historical fiction novels and poetry chapbooks.
If the future sways her towards advertising instead of writing, Turner plans on taking more of the creative route. Fashion advertising particularly interests her since she is always looking to expand her closet and review the hottest wardrobe trends.
